President Blake Egenes called the meeting to order at 11:00 A.M. The meeting was held via Zoom in home’s of each member.
Blake welcomed everyone to the meeting. Board members in attendance were: President, Blake Egenes, Vice President, David Wilson, Secretary, Nancy Schulberg, Assistant Treasurer, Marilyn Bryant, Treasurer, Carolyn Brotherton, Member At Large, Rhonda Morris. Also in attendance were Marina Manager, Matt Maynard, Water Commissioner, Joe Schwan, Water Manager, and Jose’ Escalera.
Bridgehaven’s annual meeting was set and will be held at the Bay Club in Port Ludlow, WA, Saturday September 26, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
Road maintenance will be done on North Beach Drive this year. Exact date not yet set. This project was approved by the board unanimously. Members will be notified in advance via FaceBook and Bridgehaven.net as there may be minimum access.
Letters will be sent out to five lot owners on North Beach Drive addressing the safety issue of overgrown tree limbs.
Dave Wilson and Blake Egenes are working with the Corps of Engineers on dredging our marina.
Repaving our boat ramp is in the planning stage.
A work party needs to be planned for annual maintenance at the marina. Getting a bid on underground sprinklers. Need volunteers to maintain the grounds on a monthly basis. There will be a sign up sheet posted inside the pavilion’s south door.
Rhonda Morris will be drafting a letter to encourage more members to join the board. This will be posted on Bridgehaven’s FaceBook and Bridgehaven.net.
Marina report was given by manager Matt Maynard. A water leak was repaired by members. Major work needs to be done on one of our piers. Presently there are three 20’ slips available for rent.
Carl Scott has been appointed as our Chair for the Architectural Committee.
Water Commissioner, Joe Schwan, addressed water over usage by community members. Joe and Jose’ will write a proposal to present to the board in regards to meter
readings, tiered rates and billings.
Water Manager, Jose’ Escalera gave a report on our water system. There has been an issue with a pressure relief valve on our system. He stated that all members need to have a pressure relief valve.
Two hundred Bridgehaven directories are being printed.
There will not be a Bridgehaven Community Annual Garage Sale this year.
Marilyn Bryant gave a treasurer’s report.
