MARINA UPDATE
- Curt is concerned about the condition of the top
deck of the marina and suggested an assessment.
- Curt reported that he had pressure washed the
marina ramp recently.
ARCHITECTURAL COMMIITTEE
REPORT
- Carl Scott reported that there have been no new
architectural issues or complaints.
WATER COMMITTEE
UPDATE
- Jose reported on a new EPA mandate requiring
water purveyors to inventory their water systems to ascertain if lead piping exists (which was banned in 1986). If found, it must be replaced.
- Per the State Engineer overseeing the project, no
actual inventory date has been set.
- Jose said Bridgehaven can no longer purchase old
meters, and new meters cost about $250 versus the $100 previously. New meters will allow remote water readings, and a contractor gave Jose an estimate of $2500 to replace 8 to 10 single meters
a day. It was agreed that Jose should move forward on purchasing the new meters.
PUMP HOUSE UPDATE
- Bill Bryant is investigating the cost of
electricity at the pump house. Jose suspects that old fuses have gone bad, leading to continuous running of the generator.
- Curt and Carl have determined the location for
the new shed at the pump house, which will require some delimbing of trees. Carl and Curt have a 200-square-foot shed picked out for installation.
MEETING ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business for discussion, the meeting was
adjourned. These meeting minutes summarize discussions to the best of President Curt Schnaible’s recollection.
