Bridgehaven Community Club Association Board Meeting August 22, 2020

President Blake Egenes called the meeting to order at 10:00 A.M.  The meeting was held at Bridgehaven Marina.

Blake welcomed everyone to the meeting.  Board members in attendance were:  President, Blake Egenes, Secretary, Nancy Schulberg, Assistant Treasurer, Marilyn Bryant, Treasurer, Carolyn Brotherton, Member At Large, Rhonda Morris.

It was decided that Bridgehaven’s annual meeting will not be held this year due to COVID-19, Corona Pandemic.

The budget was set and approved for 2021.  The $60,000 that is currently in reserve will be distributed: $30,000 will go into the marina budget for dredging, the remaining $30,000 to the marina for improvements

Projects approved for 2021

  • Repairing the boat ramp
  • Repairing the docks starting at the east end, Blake would like to see one or two fingers repaired each year until they are all completed
  • Dredging
  • Hire maintenance out for lawn up keep at the marina
  • Maintenance for lawn upkeep at the pump house, storage tank area and other areas that become fire hazardous
  • Install a Bridgehaven sign on south end of Thorndyke like the one on the north end
  • Build or install a kayak, canoe storage unit at the marina
  • Building a new storage building to house records

Other discussion was having covenant changes relooked at.  Vote next time for each covenant change separately, not all or none.  Need someone to head this project.

Traffic mitigation for Thorndyke Road was also mentioned.  Nancy Schulberg will look into this concern.

Respectfully Submitted, Nancy Schulberg, Secretary
