MARINA
UPDATE
- There was no marina update because Manager Matt Maynard was
unable to attend the meeting.
- Dave Suveges indicated that due to rough surfaces and exposed
nails, the marina dock boards need to be flipped and screwed down to make the surface more walkable. Carl will take a look at the work needed.
TREASURER’S
REPORT
- Marilyn distributed the Treasurer’s Report, showing that
Bridgehaven is in good financial shape.
- Curt stated that a 12’x16’ shed has been ordered to replace
the existing water tower shed, arriving the first week of October. The shed has a single door and no windows, which should aid in security. Curt thinks a cyclone fence might not be needed for extra
security. Installation will include electrical, sheetrock, a vent, and lights (inside and an outside motion light).
- Carl recommends that bids be solicited for all upcoming
Bridgehaven projects, rather than just handing the work to someone.
WATER
REPORT
- An extensive discussion was held regarding ordering and
installation of the new water meters.
- Curt recommended that Bridgehaven purchase a method to
“robo-call” notification system for residents in the event of an emergency, water or otherwise. Posting on Facebook and/or NextDoor has been a method used, but not all residents have access to those
forms of communication. The system can be used for all emergencies, not just water related, and can provide text or phone notifications.
- Discussion was held about updating Bridgehaven’s existing
standard water rates to mirror/compete with PUD’s tiered usage-based water rates.
BUDGET
MEETING
Curt wants to have a budget meeting on
August 28, 2023, followed by distribution of information the first
week in September.
BALLOT
Andy Lingle indicated he would like to be
on the ballot again as a Member at Large. Curt wants a notice
posted on Facebook asking if any residents
are interested in being on the ballot.
There being no further business, the
meeting was adjourned. These minutes summarize discussions to the best of President Schnaible’s recollection.
